Super Sugar Pop is the latest effort from Betsoft, and one that follows up on the earlier Sugar Pop slot. That was a favorite of ours, and you’ll spot some similar features in its sequel. Is this a big game?

Yes, it offers six reels to spin, with five symbols per reel. This means there are zero lines to bet on, since they’ve gone for a Pays Anywhere format. Land at least eight matching symbols on the reels to score a prize. They don’t all need to be touching either. The scatter only needs to appear four times in a spin to count.

The bets go from 25 cents up to $12.50 per game. You might notice that the prize amounts shown in the paytable will alter to reflect the amount you bet with.

The chocolate jazzy ball is a bonus symbol, and there are three extra symbols to search for in the bonus round too. You will also see a chocolate bomb in the game as a scatter, and a multicolored version in the free game feature that displays a multiplier value.

Are there lots of bonuses in this slot game?

Four scatter icons will produce 10 free spins. If you get at least three more scatters during a freebie, you will have another five added to your total. Multiplier bombs will provide values of between 2x and 100x each. If you get a winning combo, it triggers the cascade feature with new symbols landing on the reels. The multipliers are then applied to the outcome.

If you want to access the Hold & Win feature, you’ll need eight or more bonus symbols to do it. You then get three respins, as you might expect. There are some tweaks here though, with crush icons joining double and collect icons to add a twist or two to what might occur before you run out of respins.
